Cops charge man with murder in March shooting near NoDa
Police on Wednesday arrested a suspect in the fatal shooting of 37-year-old Damien Rashad Mack near NoDa in March.
Police obtained a warrant charging 26-year-old Jamarr Trantwan James with murder and arrested him without incident, according to a Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department news release.
Mack was shot in the 4100 block of Atmore Street early on March 7, and Medic pronounced him dead at the scene, the news release states.
