Charlotte-Mecklenburg police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man suspected of stealing a vehicle and utility trailer from a storage facility parking lot in north Charlotte last Thursday.

The facility is in the 7000 block of Statesville Road.

The vehicle and trailer were stolen at about 4 a.m., police said. The vehicle was found later that day in Catawba County. The 2014 gray Big Tex Utility Trailer is still missing.

The suspect is about 6-feet-4-inches tall and weighs about 230 pounds. He was last seen wearing a collared shirt and blue jeans. The vehicle he was driving was a Chevrolet Silverado extended cab pickup truck.
