Police search for Central Avenue robbery suspects
Charlotte-Mecklenburg police are asking for the public’s help in identifying two suspects and the women they were with during a robbery early Saturday in the 3800 block of Central Avenue.
At about 12:45 a.m., at least two victims were robbed by assailants who left in an older-model green or blue Honda four-door car, police said.
The first suspect is described as black, about 25 years old, 6 feet tall and of thin build with shoulder-length dreadlocks. The second suspect is described as a thin black male who was wearing a black shirt with pink writing, pink shoes and a Chicago Bulls ball cap.
Police on Wednesday released surveillance photos of the suspects and the two women who were with them.
Anyone with information about the case is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 704-334-1600.
