Man arrested after cutting off electronic monitor
Police arrested a 43-year-old Charlotte man without incident Wednesday morning who cut off his electronic monitor on Sunday, according to Charlotte-Mecklenburg police.
Akinto Maurice Boone was wanted on outstanding warrants for common law robbery, felony conspiracy and interfering with an electronic monitoring device.
On Feb. 23, a judge ordered Boone to wear the monitor as a condition of his pretrial release.
