2nd arrest made in Hickory fatal shooting
Hickory police on Thursday arrested a second man in connection with the June 1 fatal shooting of Lancelot Kenyatta Ellison at a home on Eighth Avenue Drive Southeast.
Police charged Demarcus Kashaun Pollard, 23, of Hickory, with first-degree murder. He was jailed without bond.
On June 4, Tevin Jerome Davis was charged with first-degree murder, second-degree kidnapping and robbery with a dangerous weapon in connection with Ellison’s death.
Police found Ellison, 46, of Georgia, unresponsive as a result of gunshot wounds. Officers administered CPR, but Ellison was later declared dead at the scene.
