One shot in head with crossbow, ‘dangerous’ man in custody, North Carolina cops say

A person was shot in the head with a crossbow, and deputies have taken a ”dangerous” person into custody in connection with the case, North Carolina officials say.

Siegfred Albert Jackson, 28, was found less than 1 mile from the scene of the alleged shooting in Hickory, the Burke County Sheriff’s Office posted Wednesday on Facebook.

Deputies say they were previously called to the area Tuesday and discovered a male who had been shot with a crossbow. The person was in serious condition and was airlifted to a hospital, officials say.

This is a developing story.
