Rock Hill woman accused of having sex with boy, 14

A Rock Hill woman was arrested this weekend after allegedly having sex with a 14-year-old boy earlier this month, according to Rock Hill Police.

Nicole Prado Bates, 22, of Ebenezer Road, was charged with first-degree criminal sexual conduct with a minor and criminal solicitation of a minor. She remained in the Moss Justice Center Monday under $75,000 bond.

The victim’s mother told police June 8 that her son had sex with Bates while staying at Bates’ home, according to a police report.

The age of consent in South Carolina is 16.
