Three Gaston County residents accused of trafficking cocaine

Lincoln County sheriff’s investigators arrested three Gaston County residents Tuesday on cocaine trafficking and other offenses while conducting drug surveillance in the 3200 block of Gastonia Highway, south of Lincolnton.

Investigators said they seized 28 grams of cocaine, a small amount of marijuana and about $1,700 in cash.

Candice Marie Cooper, 23, of Gastonia, and Larry Antwan Chambers, 34, of Mount Holly were each charged with trafficking cocaine, possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver cocaine and conspiracy to traffic cocaine.

Cooper was jailed on $60,000 bail and Chambers on $80,000 bail.

Christopher Obryan Adams, 29, of Gastonia, was charged with trafficking cocaine, possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver cocaine and conspiracy to traffic cocaine, possession of cocaine, maintaining a vehicle/dwelling for a controlled substance and possession of marijuana.

He was jailed on $85,000 bail.
