Police search for robber who wore pink or red wig

Gastonia police are searching for a woman who wore a pink or red wig as she robbed a store at gunpoint. At 9:52 p.m. June 14, police said, the suspect entered the Save Mart at 1010 S. New Hope Road, walked to the register, pointed a gun at the clerk and demanded money. The clerk complied, and the suspect left. The suspect is described as a black female with a light-brown complexion, about 5-foot-2. Joe Marusak
