CMPD investigating west Charlotte stabbing

Charlotte-Mecklenburg police officials are investigating a stabbing at the Southern Comfort Inn Saturday night.

There was an altercation between two men that left one with lacerations on his back. His injuries are not life-threatening, according to police.

Police said the victim is not giving them much information about the man who cut him. He did tell them, though, that the suspect fled on a moped.
