Teen arrested in Monroe homicide case
An 18-year-old was arrested Saturday in the July 11 shooting death of a Monroe man.
Jadis Deon’tae Cole, 18, of Marsvhille has been charged with first-degree murder, the Monroe Police Department said Monday.
He is accused of shooting 30-year-old Carroll Willis Griffin just before 1 a.m. July 11. Griffin was found outside his car parked on East Hudson Street in Monroe.
Cole is being held in the Union County Jail.
