Lincoln County man arrested on opium trafficking charges

Lincoln County sheriff’s investigators arrested an Iron Station man on opium trafficking charges.

William Edward Young, 42, was charged Monday with trafficking opium by possession, trafficking opium by sale, trafficking opium by delivery and maintaining a dwelling for a controlled substance. Young was jailed on $56,000 bail.

The arrest followed a three-week undercover investigation.
