1 injured in south Charlotte shooting

An investigation is underway after a man was shot in the foot in south Charlotte early Thursday.

The shooting happened on Cedar Trail Lane just before 4 a.m. The victim was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

Two people were seen running from the scene, but police are unsure of their involvement.

No names have been released.
