Two Virginia men charged after 4 pounds of pot found in their truck
Iredell County sheriff’s investigators arrested and charged two Virginia men after finding four pounds of marijuana in their pickup truck during a traffic stop on eastbound Interstate 40 late Wednesday.
Chad Everett Blankenship, 43, of Fries, and James William Taber, 24, of Hillsville, were each charged with possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana, felony possession of marijuana, felony maintaining a vehicle for drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Taber also had outstanding arrest warrants for misdemeanor larceny and possession of stolen goods.
Blankenship was jailed on $14,000 bail and Taber on $14,500 bail.
