2 Charlotte-area men sentenced for producing child porn
Two Charlotte-area men were sentenced to 15 years in prison this week for producing child pornography, the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Charlotte said.
In federal court in Statesville, Antony Alexander Gonzalez Solorzano, 28, of Lincolnton, also was sentenced to a lifetime of supervised release and was ordered to register as a sex offender.
Solorzano pleaded guilty to production of child pornography in June 2014 and has been in federal custody since November 2013.
According to the criminal indictment, Solorzano coerced a minor to engage in sexually explicit conduct that he videotaped and stored on his computer.
James Douglas Brown, 54, of Mooresville, also was sentenced to a lifetime of supervised release this week and was ordered to register as a sex offender.
Court records show Brown sexually abused a minor female repeatedly between May 2009 and January 2011 and filmed and photographed some of the abuse.
In May 2014, a federal jury convicted Brown of eight counts of production and one count of possession of child pornography. He has been in federal custody since November 2013.
