CMPD investigating death of missing mother found in car in west Charlotte
A missing Charlotte mother’s body was found in a vehicle on Thursday morning, Charlotte-Mecklenburg police stated in a press release.
Frezja Matisse Baker, 31, was found unresponsive at 9:35 a.m. in the 2300 block of Sanders Avenue in west Charlotte, the press release stated. The cause of death is undetermined at this time.
Baker was reportedly last seen on the morning of Dec. 4 at 1323 Lasalle Street wearing a long sleeve black shirt with the word “Panthers” on the chest in white and blue, according to a previous CMPD press release. Photos in the press release showed Baker in what appeared to be a corner store or gas station.
The investigation into this case is active and ongoing, according to CMPD.
