Details of what ignited the violence have not been released.

Henry Leonel Vindall Branco, of Charlotte, was fatally shot around 4:15 a.m. on Sunday, May 3, in an industrial park along Weller Way, near Bryton Corporate Center Drive, police say. Twenty-year-old Branco died after being taken to a Charlotte hospital, officials say.

Jose Quintanilla-Cordova and Dorian Jassier Tabora Oro have been arrested and charged with first degree murder in connection with the shooting, Huntersville police said in a June 3 news release.

The two Charlotte men assaulted three other people around the same time, resulting in them being charged with three additional counts of felony assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill, court documents report.

Details of injuries suffered by the assault victims have not been released. Investigators have also not said if the suspects and victims were acquainted.

Quintanilla-Cordova was armed with a rifle during the assaults, and Oro had a handgun, police said.

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement has filed a detainer on Oro, should he be released from jail, court records show.
