Police say they found man who stole from several Meck businesses

A man has been charged with eight counts of felony breaking and entering in connection with a string of commercial robberies across Mecklenburg County, Charlotte-Mecklenburg police said.

Jack Ferrell, 33, was identified as a suspect after CMPD’s crime analysis unit discovered what appeared to be a series of break-ins in similar commercial businesses in March, police said.

Ferrell is accused of stealing about $23,000 in property and police believe he’s involved in dozens of others burglaries.
