Three arrested after I-485 police chase

Three people were arrested after a police chase on the Interstate 485 Inner Loop in Charlotte early Thursday.

The chase started about 3 a.m. and ended about a half-hour later.

Police said the car reached 120 mph before stopping near Oakdale Road off Mount Holly-Huntersville Road.

The car was reported stolen during an armed robbery this week, police said.

The chase started when a State Highway Patrol trooper turned on his blue lights and the driver didn’t stop.
