3 arrested on meth charges at Lincoln County home
Lincoln County sheriff’s investigators arrested two men and a woman on meth charges Wednesday night at a home in the 2000 block of Bill Lynch Road, off Soutfork and Laboratory roads near Lincolnton.
When investigators arrived at the home, a man tried to hide methamphetamine under a couch in the living room, sheriff’s narcotics Lt. Jon Propst said Thursday.
Officers found more methamphetamine in the home, along with small plastic baggies and digital scales containing meth residue, Propst said.
Two people pulled up to the home in a car, were approached by narcotics detectives and gave their consent to have the car searched. Officers found opiate-based prescription pills, more methamphetamine, a small amount of marijuana, plastic baggies similar to those in the home and cash.
All three suspects live in the home, Propst said.
Jason Lee Self, 33, was charged with trafficking opium or heroin, possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia and simple possession of marijuana. He was jailed on $30,000 bail.
Amber Danielle Scism, 32, was charged with possession of methamphetamine and jailed on a $5,000 bail.
Danny Eugene Dean, 36, was charged with possession of methamphetamine and jailed on a $20,000 bail.
