Police search for 2nd suspect in Shelby shooting

Shelby police have arrested one man and are searching for another one in connection with a shooting Monday near Southern Convenience Store in the 400 block of West Dixon Boulevard.

The victim, Jody Curtis Lockett of Shelby, was shot in his right arm and was treated and released at Cleveland Regional Medical Center, police said.

On Thursday, police arrested Brundon Torray Moore, 34, at his Shelby home and charged him with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury and possession of a firearm by a felon. He was jailed on $250,000 bail.

Police are searching for a second suspect, Gregory Davis, 30, also of Shelby.
