Police investigating stabbing that injured 1 person

A woman was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries after she was stabbed Thursday morning in the 500 block of Brookhill Road, off South Tryon Street in Charlotte, Medic reported.

Police took one person into custody, WBTV, the Observer’s news partner, reported.

Medic took the victim to Carolinas Medical Center about 5:30 a.m.
