Pawn shop items lead to charges in Lincoln County break-in
Authorities have arrested a Bessemer City man and are searching for a Charlotte man in connection with a Sept. 3 break-in and larceny at a home in Lincoln County.
Charges were filed in the case after items stolen from the home on Village Drive near Lincolnton were found at pawn shops in Shelby and Gastonia, Lincoln County sheriff’s investigators said Wednesday.
Clayton Kirby Johnson-Wallace, 22, of Bessemer City, was arrested and charged with breaking and entering, conspiracy to break and enter, larceny after breaking and entering, and receiving stolen goods. He is free on $20,000 bail.
Authorities issued warrants for the same charges against Steven Matthew Donaldson, 23, of Charlotte.
