Authorities search for masked robber of Marathon gas station

Authorities are searching for a man who covered his face with a sheet-like material, had sunglasses on and flashed a knife to rob the Marathon gas station at 308 Turnersburg Highway near Statesville on Monday night.

Anyone with information about the robber is asked to call the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office at 704-878-3180. Callers can remain anonymous.
