Police search for robbers of 2 Charlotte banks
Charlotte-Mecklenburg police are asking for the public’s help in solving two local bank robberies.
About 2:30 p.m. Sept. 3, a man wearing a white button-down shirt and sunglasses robbed First Citizens Bank at 8105 Mallard Creek Road, police said. The man is 30 to 40 years old, police said.
About 2 p.m. Tuesday, a man wearing a black zip-up hoodie and sunglasses robbed the Wells Fargo Bank branch at 2610 W. Sugar Creek Road. The robber in that case is about 25 to 30 years old, police said.
Police released surveillance video images this week of the men suspected of robbing the banks.
