Domestic violence march planned for Thursday
The Domestic Violence Advocacy Council is holding a march Thursday in uptown Charlotte in response to a domestic violence-related homicide earlier this month.
Judith Causey, 37, was killed Sept. 10 by her ex-boyfriend, Kevin Conner, who took his own life, police say. Her current partner was badly wounded. The march is 12:15 to 1 p.m. at Trade and Tryon streets.
This is the fifth domestic violence-related homicide in Charlotte-Mecklenburg this year.
