Police search for robber of TCBY store

Charlotte-Mecklenburg police are asking for the public’s help in finding a woman they said robbed the TCBY at 14835 Ballantyne Village Way on Sept. 21.

The woman implied to workers that she had a weapon, police said.

The woman is white, about 5-feet-4-inches tall, with a thin build and brown hair. She was wearing aviator-style sunglasses, a dark red flannel shirt, “skinny jeans,” dark hiking boots and carrying a large black purse.

Anyone with information about the woman’s identity is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 704-334-1600.
