Charlotte-Mecklenburg police search for 7-Eleven robber

Charlotte-Mecklenburg police are searching for the man who robbed the 7-Eleven gas station in the 9600 block of University City Boulevard about 5:15 a.m. Wednesday.

The man is about 30 years old, 5 feet 10 inches tall, of thin build and with shoulder-length dreadlocks. He was wearing a black T-shirt and multi-colored shorts.

Anyone with information about the case is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 704-334-1600.
