Pedestrian struck by 2 vehicles, killed walking on S.C. road
Law enforcement officers are looking for two separate vehicles that struck and killed a pedestrian walking on a South Carolina roadway.
Both vehicles fled the scene after the person was hit, according to S.C. Highway Patrol.
Someone walking on S.C. Highway 34 outside the town of Ridgeway was reportedly struck from behind near Long Road around 8:45 p.m. on Saturday. The pedestrian then fell into the roadway, where he was struck a second time by another vehicle.
Neither vehicle stopped at the scene, and the pedestrian was killed.
Highway Patrol is continuing to investigate the collision.
