Police investigating 2 Charlotte shootings on Tuesday
Charlotte-Mecklenburg police are investigating two separate shootings on Tuesday, including one that sent a person to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The first shooting happened about 10:40 a.m. in the 1500 block of Clanton Road, a couple of blocks from West Boulevard.
Medic took the male victim to Carolinas Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
The other shooting happened about 12:30 p.m. in the 2800 block of Cedarwild Road, off Idlewild Road in east Charlotte.
Medic took the male victim to CMC with life-threatening injuries.
Police said they have no one in custody in the shootings and that the investigations are in the early stages.
