Man shot in his back in Salisbury apartment
A 32-year-old Salisbury man was hospitalized in good condition after being shot in his back in his apartment in the 200 block of West D Avenue Monday night, police said.
Police said they found Joshua Harrison outside his apartment about 8:20 p.m. He was taken to Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte for treatment.
Witnesses in the area told police that, after hearing a gunshot, they saw a man believed to be Harrison being chased through the complex by another man who was carrying a gun.
Police executed a search warrant on Harrison’s apartment and found cash and illegal narcotics inside.
The shooter is described as having short dread locks and wearing a dark hoodie.
