65-year-old Gastonia man accused of sexually assaulting a child

A 65-year-old Gastonia man was jailed on $1 million bail after being charged in connection with sexual assaults on a child.

Gaston County police charged Charles Ray Moore with five counts of statutory sex offense with a child under 13 and six counts of indecent liberties with a child.

The charges stem from incidents that occurred from November 2014 to the present.
