Third suspect charged in deadly Rock Hill shooting
A third man has been arrested in connection with the August murder of a man outside a Frank Street home, according to Rock Hill Police.
Faubion Cadarious Mobley, 20, was arrested Thursday and charged with accessory to a felony before the fact, police say. He was held in the Rock Hill city jail where he was expected to have a bond hearing Friday afternoon.
Thompson was charged in connection with the Aug. 9 shooting death of 30-year-old Anthony Hart, who was found lying face down in the grass between two homes on the 500 block of Frank Street.
Officers were responding to another call nearby when they heard several gunshots and a car speeding away, police have said.
Earlier this month, 19-year-old Xavier Thompson was charged with accessory after the fact to a felony, accessory before the fact to a felony and criminal conspiracy.
Police last month charged 17-year-old Quinterius Miller with murder in Hart’s death. Miller was previously charged with 10 counts of attempted murder after police say he shot into a Frank Street home occupied by many people, including children, on Aug. 2. During the bond hearing for that case, officials said Miller might be involved in a homicide investigation.
It’s unclear if any connection exists between Hart’s murder and the previous Frank Street shooting, police have said.
