Police: Pedestrian may have been struck by 2 vehicles
A 27-year-old pedestrian was struck by at least one vehicle and killed while crossing a street in north Charlotte on Saturday night. Charlotte-Mecklenburg police are trying to determine whether a second vehicle also hit the victim.
Rashad Lattice Roseboro was struck by a westbound Honda Accord about 8 p.m. Saturday as he was walking across the 4900 block of Sunset Road, police said.
Roseboro was not walking in a marked crosswalk, the department said.
After speaking with witnesses, investigators learned the possibility that a second vehicle struck Roseboro after the initial collision, police said.
Police did not say whether charges will filed against the driver but said speed and alcohol likely were not factors.
