Davidson police search for man in foiled robbery of Wells Fargo branch

Davidson police released surveillance photos on Tuesday of a man they said tried to rob the Wells Fargo branch at 112 S. Main St. on Monday.

At about 2:30 p.m., a man threatened a teller but was startled by something and ran from the bank, police said. No one was injured, and no money was given to the man, police said.

The man is about 6 feet tall and 200 pounds. He was wearing a black coat and blue jeans.
