Charlotte-Mecklenburg police search for BB&T robber

Charlotte-Mecklenburg police are asking for the public’s help in identifying the man who robbed the BB&T branch in the 1800 block of Oakdale Road in northwest Charlotte shortly before noon Tuesday.

The man is white, 50 to 60 years old, 5-feet-8 or 5-feet-9 inches tall and of medium build.

He was last seen wearing a black trench coat, black cowboy hat, black tennis shoes and a blue-and-white bandana over his face.

Anyone with information about the case is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 704-334-1600.
