A Chesterfield volunteer firefighter and another man were charged after investigators say they inappropriately touched a woman at a party in August, according to arrest warrants.
Clyde Sullivan Watson Jr., 54, and Gilbert Ted King, 50, are each charged with assault and second degree assault and battery. Officials confirmed that Watson is a volunteer city firefighter for Chesterfield, about 60 miles southeast of Charlotte, and has been “for a number of years.”
The incident reportedly happened on August 15 at a home on the 1900 block of Oakland Church Road. The victim told investigators that she was sitting in a vehicle incapacitated when she awoke to find Watson “sucking and kissing her breast” and King “rubbing between her legs,” the warrant states.
Warrants were issued for Watson and King’s arrest on November 4. Investigators have not released any further information.
