3 loaded guns seized at Charlotte Douglas International Airport
Federal agents have seized three loaded guns from passengers’ carry-on bags at Charlotte Douglas International Airport since Oct. 30.
Agents confiscated a .38-caliber gun and a .40-caliber gun on Oct. 30 and a .380-caliber gun on Thursday, according to the Transportation Security Administration’s weekly blog.
Agents seized 54 loaded guns in all at U.S airports over the week and seven unloaded guns.
A passenger found with a gun in a carry-on can face a penalty of up to $11,000, according to the TSA.
