Salisbury teen charged with attempted murder
An 18-year-old from Salisbury was charged with attempted murder on Saturday.
Brandon Ulysses Flores, 18, was jailed just before 9:30 on Saturday night, charged with attempted murder, according to WBTV, the Observer’s news partner.
Flores was accused of assaulting a female, according to the report from investigators. The woman’s injuries were not described as life-threatening.
Flores was being held without bond.
Flores is a senior at Jesse Carson High School and is a standout soccer player, earning Rowan County Player of the Year honors in 2014. WBTV
