Pedestrian struck by car, killed in southwest Charlotte
A person was killed when they were struck by a vehicle in southwest Charlotte Monday, according to police.
The incident happened just before 7:30 p.m. near the intersection of Steele Creek Road and Westinghouse Boulevard.
Officials have not released much information, but confirmed that one person was killed. The victim’s name has not been released.
Police have not said what may have led to the crash or if any charges are being filed.
