Police search for robber of Advance Auto Parts store

Charlotte-Mecklenburg police are searching for the man who robbed a Advance Auto Parts in north Charlotte on Wednesday.

The robbery happened around 7:40 a.m. in the 8300 block of Hankins Road, which is off Lakeview Road and West W.T. Harris Boulevard.

. No one was injured.

Police said the robber is in his mid-20s, 5-feet-10 and medium build. He wore a black jacket and black pants.

Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 704-334-1600.
