A Charlotte man is accused of sexually assaulting a 13-year-old mentally disabled girl.
Jason Reid, 27, is charged with statutory rape and forcible fondling in connection with an incident in a Matthews home in November, according to a Charlotte-Mecklenburg police report.
Reid was in the Mecklenburg County jail Thursday on $150,000 bail, jail records show. Reid was jailed Nov. 30.
Police also charged Reid with five counts of third-degree sexual exploitation of a minor.
In a second case, Reid is accused of sending obscene material to a minor and soliciting illegal material from a minor from his home on Umstead Street in Plaza Midwood, according to a police report.
