1 hospitalized in uptown Charlotte stabbing

One person was injured in a stabbing in uptown Charlotte early Friday.

The stabbing happened shortly after 4:30 a.m. on North College Street.

Police believe both the victim and the attacker are homeless persons. The victim ran down the block to the Holiday Inn for help and was taken to Carolinas Medical Center with minor injuries.

No arrest has been made.
