Charlotte man gets 30 months for Baxter Village robbery
The second of four Charlotte men charged with armed robbery in Fort Mill’s Baxter Village in January, among other alleged crimes in Charlotte, was sentenced to 30 months in prison Tuesday, court records show.
Omar Jaban Lanier, 22, pleaded guilty to accessory after a felony. Court records in Charlotte show Lanier still faces charges from crimes there.
In the Baxter incident a pedestrian was robbed of golf cart keys and gift cards. The group of four suspects was caught at a motel near the state line when alert deputies saw the vehicle used in the crime. Charges remain pending against two other suspects, records show.
Anthony Chisholm, 22, pleaded guilty in August to conspiracy and robbery and was sentenced to 10 years.
