Armed robbers force McDonald’s employees into freezer, then bolt with cash
Police are searching for two people who they say robbed a fast food restaurant in Charlotte early Wednesday and forced the employees into a freezer.
It happened at the McDonald’s in the 4400 block of South Tryon Street.
Police said the pair forced their way inside the 24-hour fast food restaurant, with handguns, and made employees get into the freezer.
Police said the robbers then grabbed cash from the register and bolted. No one was hurt.
