Myrtle Beach police: Man concealed steaks in pants, cream cheese and beer in shirt

Myrtle Beach Police arrested a man after he allegedly concealed food and beverages in his clothes.

Police were called to the Food Lion in the 1000 block of Highway 501 Sunday around 9:30 p.m.

A store employee told police that he witnessed Wesley Deane Stiller, 45, walk to the meat counter and place a pack of steaks down the front of his pants, according to the police report.

The employee said Stiller proceeded to the dairy section and placed a package of cream cheese in his shirt. Stiller then went to the beer cooler and placed two 24 oz. beer cans in his shirt, according to the report.

Stiller is charged with shoplifting.
