Body found behind home in Concord
Police in Concord say a body was found in a wooded area Thursday afternoon.
The body was discovered some time before 3 p.m. behind a home on the 1100 block of Poole Place NW, and investigators responded to the scene. As of 9 p.m., police were still at the home, which they had taped off.
Police have not released any other details about the case or said if they suspect foul play.
The Mecklenburg Medical Examiner's Office is conducting an autopsy to determine the cause of death.
