York business says vandals defecated on door

A York business got an unwelcome surprise on its doorstep Thursday.

An employee contacted police to report someone came to the back door of the business on the 300 block of Blackburn Street the night before and defecated in front of the door. The man told police he “did clean most of the mess up” before he contacted police, according to the incident report.

He told police he believes the incident is related to a vandalism incident two days earlier, when someone threw eggs at the building’s windows.

Police told the employee the business will be placed on a property check list for patrol officers.
