Lincoln sheriff’s investigators search for 7 most-wanted drug suspects

Narcotics investigators with the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office are asking for the public’s help in finding their seven most-wanted suspects.

The suspects have been indicted or have outstanding warrants for various drug-related crimes, including the sale and delivery of cocaine and methamphetamine. Some of the suspects have charges pending since 2011.

The suspects are Angel Rodriguez Baza, 44, of Cherryville; Anthony Thomas Caffrey Jr., 53, of Lincolnton; Charles Montgomery Fitzgerald, 59, of Lincolnton; Jonathan Lee Helms, 31, of Iron Station; Bobby Durelle Robinson, 34, of Lincolnton; Bryan Rojano-Melendez, 25, of Lincolnton or Belmont; and Mitchell Scott Wise, 22, of Denver, N.C.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of any of the suspects is asked to call the sheriff’s drug tip line at 704-736-8422 or Crime Stoppers at 704-736-8909. Callers can remain anonymous.

Callers who provide information to Crime Stoppers that leads to an arrest are eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
