Postal worker in Davidson arrested on heroin possession charge
A postal worker in Davidson has been arrested on a heroin possession charge.
Amber Mitchell works at the postal inspection office in the town.
Mitchell also is being investigated for possible mail theft, police said.
Police arrested Mitchell in collaboration with the U.S. Postal Inspection Service and the Cabarrus County Sheriff’s Office. Officials with the Postal Inspection Service in Washington did not reply to requests for comment from the Observer on Friday.
